Nueva Summer seeks to provide opportunities for children and adolescents of all ages to experience the imagination, creativity, and exploration of summer days at The Nueva School.

We are seeking highly motivated, friendly, and caring (incoming) 8th – 12th graders to join Nueva Summer as Youth Leaders. You will be directly involved with campers, in a 'counselor in training' position. You will help lead small group activities, be a friend to the campers, and help to make sure every camper has the best experience possible.

Although these are unpaid positions, you will gain so much from working with Nueva teachers and having the responsibilities of a Youth Leader. You will meet with our Youth Leader Coordinator once each week to discuss your experiences and consider ways to become more involved. Positions are for a minimum of one-week.

Youth Leader positions are limited in number, and will be given to applicants who demonstrate, in their application letter, a commitment to the mission of Nueva Summer; to offer unique and enriching summer programs that inspire children to imagine, create, and explore.
